Christmas Message
from the President
Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Graydon GCB, CBE
Dear Cranwellian,
The Chairman has comprehensively described the highs and lows of the CA year and I will not repeat them. But it does give me the chance to thank him and the ExCom for all their great work in support of our Association, and also to underline our combined achievements – members and committee – in the field of celebrating our centenary so splendidly with the unveiling of the Trenchard Statue, and in the presentation of our history and heritage through the website. This, along with the Jack Holt award, much prized by the NCO community, is something which should have lasting impact.
The next year is likely to see developments, Astra in particular, which will bear on the Association. I am determined to ensure that what we stand for and our place in the Royal Air Force heritage continues to be properly recognised and celebrated. In the meantime, I wish you all a safe and enjoyable Christmas and for all of us a coming year which will see a return to some form of normality,
