RIP

Brian Watt

We are sad to announce that Brian Watt of 99 Entry (C Sqn) passed away on the 12th April at the age of 74 . Retiring as a Wing Commander he obtained a place at Cranfield School of Management and was awarded an MBA. For 25 years thereafter, he was responsible for supply chain and manufacturing operations in many different countries, with major projects in Europe, China and Poland. He joined Chubb Fire and Security as Operations Director and retired in 2009 following his first throat cancer. On recovering, he set up his own business consultancy and moved to Jersey in 2014 to be near family.

When he finally retired he was persuaded to become Chair of Governors at Victoria College, a governor and then Chair of Governors at Read School, Drax and Chairman of WetWheels Jersey, a charity which takes disabled and disadvantaged people to sea in a specially adapted motorboat. He was a keen sailor, loved skiing with his grandchildren, cooking, playing the guitar and was an amateur astronomer.
