PROMOTION FOR THE COMMANDANT

The promotion of Air Commodore Suraya Marshall to Air Vice- Marshal and her appointment as AOC 2 Group has been announced. She will be departing the College in October and we send her many congratulations and best wishes for the future. She has faced the COVID challenge whilst overseeing a greatly increased throughput at Cranwell, and her support for the CA, in particular the Trenchard Statue, has been much appreciated. As the first female Commandant, she has set the bar very high indeed! We hope to see her at reunions in the future.
